Bills, bows and the thunder of the early cannons bring Whittington Barracks to life this weekend as we take a look at one of the bloodiest conflicts ever fought on English soil.

Following the successful 1940s Weekend in 2009 Foreign Field have been commissioned to perform another 2-day spectacular featuring battles, vehicles, farming demonstrations and Home Front memorabilia.

Foreign Field return to this superb venue to stage a new Wartime Weekend featuring both military and Home Front displays, live action demonstrations and vehicles commemorating 70 years since the Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain.
