Oct 25-26 2008 Foreign Field Northern LRP Kit Fair
Building 21, Elsecar Heritage Centre
Returning for its third successful event the Live Roleplayers' Kit Fair brings back many of the original and well known LRP traders along with new faces, the Fantasy Fashion Show and the return of the Zombie Make-up Workshop. Feb 7-8 2009 Foreign Field Southern LRP Kit Fair
Ashton Gate Football Stadium (Bristol City FC), Bristol
Due to demand the LRP Fair has expanded in 2009 to two events a year, one in the north in October and the new Kit Fair in the south. New traders, as well as regular faces along with a range of shows, attractions and promoting systems. [More]

May 23-24 2009 500 Years of the Stafford Knot
Staffordshire Regiment Museum, Lichfield
Foreign Field is proud to offer our first multi-period festival. This weekend will see our saulte to the Staffordshire Regiment's proud history by taking over half a century of military history that has marched under the Stafford Knot. From the Duke of Buckingham in the Wars of the Roses to the South Stafford Airborne of the Second World War - To be confirmed.

June 2009

Jun 27-28 2009 Veterans Day Celebrations
Trowbridge Town
Foreign Field returns to the pleasant town of Trowbridge on Veterans Day to commemorate the start of the Second World War 70 years on.

July 2009

Jul 11-12 2009 Wartime Weekend
Ponderosa Farm, West Yorkshire
Following the successful 1940s Day in 2008 Foreign Field have been commissioned to expand this event to a 2-day spectacular featuring battles, vehicles, farming demonstrations and Home Front memorabilia.
Jul 25-26 2009 Whittington Wartime Weekend
Staffordshire Regiment Museum, Lichfield
Foreign Field return to this superb venue to stage a new Wartime Weekend featuring both military and Home Front displays, live action demonstrations and vehicles commemorating 70 years since the outbreak of the war. To be confirmed

August 2009

Aug 1-2 2009 The Battle of Wakefield 1460
Ponderosa Farm, West Yorkshire
Foreign Field return to this pleasant farm, just 7 miles from the battlefield of Wakefield to restage the years of the Wars of the Roses and the fate of the House of York in 1460.

Sep 5-6 2009 Elsecar Railway Wartime Weekend
Elsecar Heritage Railway
Foreign Field return to this superb venue to stage the fifth explosive Wartime Weekend featuring both military and Home Front displays, live action demonstrations and vehicles. Also returning is the popular Big Band Dance night. [More]
