Battle Displays

In the 15th Century England was torn apart by the Wars of the Roses. The House of York rebelling against the ruling House of Lancaster.

All across England there are battlefields from this conflict and there is a very good chance that there is one close to your venue.

The Wars of the Roses left us with not only the bloodiest battle fought on English soil at Towton in 1461 but also the last English Monarch to be killed in combat when Richard III was killed at Bosworth.

Foreign Field can restage battles such as these for your visitors. The volleys of arrows, the thunder of the cavalry and the roar and smoke of the cannons.

Over the clash of bill, sword and armour the commentary talks you through the Wars of the Roses and the battle we are staging.

As is customary with a Foreign Field show, many of the performers and combatants are available to answer questions and queries and allow people into the armour and equipment.

Contact Foreign Field for a quote or further information.
