Medieval Camps and Living History

It’s not all military on our camps, civilians do their best to make sure that life goes on as normal and in our living history camps you can see, try and learn about a great many historical skills.

In our camps you can see the food of the 15th Century and compare with that you like to eat today, learn how to make 15th Century candles.

In the soldiers area you can find out about making musket balls and the latest techniques in surgery and wound care being pioneered at the time.

There’s a lot more to the shows than just the battles.
