Multi-Period Festivals

2,000 years of history in one venue!

For a really spectacular event don't limit yourself. The multi-period event offers you a timeline starting with the Romans and working through history up until the Second World War and beyond if you would like it.

Take your visitors through all of British History and they will have a day out that is truly memorable.

Each period of history covered comes complete with a living history camp showing the equipment and lifestyles of the day as well as demonstrating many of the crafts particular to each period of history such as roman weaponmaking, medieval cookery, tudor dance, georgian surgery, second world war rationing and so on.

As well as the living history camp there will be one or more arena based displays from each period represented. Medieval archery, Napoleonic musket drill, a civil war battle, the Second World War Gunnery to give as examples. These can be as numerous and varied as your event demands.

As is normal with Foreign Field shows, our interpreters are available after any displays to talk and interact with the public.

The multi-period caters to all historical interests and will attract visitors wanting a thoroughly packed day out..
