Parks are usually wide open spaces that tailor themselves to a variety of reenactment and living history events.

The country garden setting lends itself to the Regency period of garden balls before Waterloo whereas the large expanses of grassed land would be suitable for a confrontation from the Wars of the Roses or the English Civil War.

The large expanses of flat grassland complement the rank and file, musket to pike style confrontations of the 17th Century can be demonstrated extremely well in this kind of environment.

Or a larger static display of 1940s entertainment, vehicles and equipment can be provided with weaponry drills and children's training.
