To War at Belsay

Over the weekend of the 12th and 13th of August, Foreign Field took part in the “Belsay at War” event at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens in Northumberland for English Heritage.

Each day we took part in 7 “War Walks”, guiding groups of visitors along the route of a British military patrol somewhere in Normandy in June 1944, picking up lost paratroopers and Jedburghs along the way, facing down a German sniper and escaping from a deadly ambush!

In addition to this we also performed our ever popular “Eat Knuckles Fritz” close quarters combat show.
